Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using StargazingPal ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to access or use the App.

License to Use

StargazingPal grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to:

Download and install the App on your personal mobile device
Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only
Access and view the App's content for your personal use

Restrictions

You are expressly prohibited from:

Using the App for any commercial purposes
Modifying, adapting, or hacking the App
Creating derivative works based on any StargazingPal content, including but not limited to:
- Mobile application software
- Website content and design
- User interface elements
- Graphics and visual elements
- Text content and documentation
- Data visualization formats
Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
Removing any proprietary notices from the App or website
Transferring, sublicensing, or reselling any StargazingPal content
Using the App or website content in any way that violates applicable laws
Scraping, data mining, or extracting content from the App or website
Reproducing any portion of the App or website without express written permission

Data Accuracy and Service Availability

Important Disclaimer:

Weather forecasts and astronomical calculations are provided "as is" without any warranty of accuracy
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App
Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates
Astronomical visibility conditions may differ from predictions
All decisions based on App data are made at your own risk
The data source may change due to availability or force majeure factors, and we do not guarantee the permanent existence of any functionality.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services:

Google AdMob for advertising purposes
Weather data providers
RevenueCat for in-app purchase and subscription management
We are not responsible for third-party services' performance or data practices
Use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App offers premium features through in-app purchases and subscriptions:

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and subject to Apple's terms and conditions
Subscription prices are clearly displayed before purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase
We reserve the right to modify, terminate, or otherwise amend our offered subscription plans
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by the app developer, and subject to Apple's refund policies
Cancellation of subscription does not retroactively refund payments already made
The "lifetime" premium purchase grants premium eligibility for the duration of the app’s operational life. While we endeavor to maintain the app in the long term, we do not guarantee any specific duration for its lifecycle.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StargazingPal shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Losses arising from reliance on weather or astronomical data
Service interruptions or unavailability
Data inaccuracies or errors
Any issues related to use or inability to use the App

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes through the App. Continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
